Can I ask what attachment I can put on the ATPL written results? And how can I adjust my flying hours from FAA to the P1, P1 U/S, etc...?
I have FAA CPL ME IR with more than 250 hours, but I don't know what to put on the ATPL written result attachment field since in the FAA world they will allow you to take only the written exams after logging 1500 hours and attending ATP-CTP grounds. And adjusting the flying hours from FAA world to HK CAD world is quite daunting.

Newbie got a shot
Hey folks been a lurker a while now and I just finished my initial interview early this month. Any info whats next after submitting the PLIS/MIC forms? I’ve got another assessment for a different airline this coming Feb ‘25 and am worried if whatever comes next might coincide with any CX assessments. Also would appreciate any info on the assessment day for CX.

What are the responsibilities of the Second Officer? (Primary role)
In general HR are very nice, if you do not know something don't stress just say so and they tend to move onto something else. Do be prepared to speak about yourself. They want to learn more about you and who you are, be confident, they are looking for future captains.
Be prepared to point out where in your logbook the specific flights are that they require: 300nm solo nav with 2 off base landings and the 5 solo full stop night landings are really the main ones.

in the actualy condition i was met with SO who have upgraded to Fo only for 1 year services.
he is flying for jetstar asia before and collect about 1200 hours on A320 before joining as a CX SO.
and one of my friend is upgraded less than 2 years 1000 hours on A320 with TT about 1200 hours but he is managerial pilot as Flight safety officer (the company only allow flying from fri-sun) 3 days services a week.
He is mentioned upgrading is based on your previous background and your performance during services under Cx , its not applied for who hasn’t turbine time before

Interesting! So the HR lady I spoke with said upgrading is strictly based on seniority, but maybe that's not true in all cases. I already have my ATPL so to have all of these 250hr guys ahead of me didn't make sense. So I'll return with some jet time, as I only have multi-turbine time right now and go DEFO, instead of waiting the 5-6 years to upgrade.
