FO upgrades are super quick at the moment, but will depend which fleet you are on since they killed seniority. 777 SO’s are getting upgraded after only 1 year of service. Previous experience is irrelevant.

Hows the progress?

Might save a few years compared to the SO path, as they're estimating 5-6 years as a SO before getting the FO position.
Hi, how’s your progress with Cathay? Any tip please?

Hi! for the documentations, did you need specific flight records from your flight schools? For example, receipts or flight hours. If so, I would need to go to my flight shcools in the States. That's why

Possibly you need to submit long distance cross-country or night solo certification from fly school, but I’m not sure,it will be required by their PLIS system for liscense conversion

There hasn't been much information regarding the next opening for DESO's -- However, last I heard starting dates for DESO's have been put to a delay due to limited training resources. So I assume it'll be some time until the next opening.

Keep doing what you are doing, wait patiently, and check the job roles as it could be a while

Industry is always changing, when airlines need people they hire. When they don't they stop slow or stop recruitment. We always need to be ready.

Rumors are they do not need any DESOs in the near future after hiring more than 800 in 2023 and 2024.
