No, not yet. But I've been using that pilotassessments.com to practice.

Just wanted to ask how did your interview go?
If you don't mind sharing your experiences. Thanks so much.

Hi guys, question, Do you put your flight hours during your training in flying school as total hours? I have 1490 turbine hours. 150 hours single engine. My previous company didn’t let the pilot put those hours in flying school on our logbook. So i wrote those hours separately ( one for flying school, one company logbook). These log books separation quite a problem for me during uploading log book last page. Thank you

It's really basic. Very generic questions such as your history in aviation, why Cathay Pacific, what do you know about the airline, preferred aircraft, what do you know about Hong Kong (look at areas to live etc). So do a bit of research on the airline and the city and you should be fine. It's very relaxed, nothing technical. My interviewer was very friendly and polite. Good Luck!

Yes, flight training (provided it was on an actual aircraft) counts towards your total time. Just make sure you have it in the correct column (dual/instruction) and you'll be fine.

Hey Guys, the 30-minute interview is actually quite straightforward, just HR questions, no technical stuff.

Might save a few years compared to the SO path, as they're estimating 5-6 years as a SO before getting the FO position.
in the actualy condition i was met with SO who have upgraded to Fo only for 1 year services.
he is flying for jetstar asia before and collect about 1200 hours on A320 before joining as a CX SO.
and one of my friend is upgraded less than 2 years 1000 hours on A320 with TT about 1200 hours but he is managerial pilot as Flight safety officer (the company only allow flying from fri-sun) 3 days services a week.
He is mentioned upgrading is based on your previous background and your performance during services under Cx , its not applied for who hasn’t turbine time before

Interesting! So the HR lady I spoke with said upgrading is strictly based on seniority, but maybe that's not true in all cases. I already have my ATPL so to have all of these 250hr guys ahead of me didn't make sense. So I'll return with some jet time, as I only have multi-turbine time right now and go DEFO, instead of waiting the 5-6 years to upgrade.
