Guys everyone here is waiting since a long time , I know for us (2014 batch),it's a very short span but again we are also getting frustrated as its been 7 months since we have given our exam and this is the first time it has happened that a batch has to wait for 7 months n are still waiting but in PPrune the info we get are all rumours and assumptions . I myself is rated on 737 and gave 2014 exam n eagerly waiting for the results as there is only 1 yr left for my rating to get lapsed so here whatever info we get will not make any difference,whatever is suppose to happen will happen . I talk to 10 different people ,they tell me 10 different things. So what we should do is relax n wait patiently as we don't have any other option n let's hope we all get our fair chance cheers!!!!

Tell me one simple thing aroumika...if there is no such thing as expedited acc to u, then why 2013(July) rated candidates who gave the ab initio exam(21st july) were inducted first than the 2011 batch...i would like hear on this..They should have inducted first the 2011 batch then 2013(Rated,Non Rated) then 2014(Rated,Non rated) acc to u and to those people who r supporting u i would like to have an answer..
Jet HR had already said earlier that there will be no separate exam for the rated candidates..They will have to go through the ab initio exam..and for the rated candidates there will be no GD round...and they will have to pay 10 lakh ruppes towards the training cost..Its possible that u must not b knowing so pls dnt say management or HR has not said anything..ask from the rated guys of 2013(FEB) who didnt got thrugh they knw..
As i had earlier said that i never gave the exam of 2014, its because of my brother i had gone to the HR Dept...

psychologist and sit in the panel of Jet Airways while interviewing people since u can judge ones personality till u dnt get a job as a pilot and after that u can continue if u want...

If you're trying to compare the 2014 batch to 2013, here's the key difference:
The 2013 exam was conducted in July. The result was declared in October the same year. It took them 3 months to declare the result of the exam.
Whereas it's been almost 8 months and the result of the 2014 exam still hasn't been declared. If Jet wants type rated candidates from this batch as well, what's taking them so long to declare the result?

following this thread and trying to get some information for the past 2 years (im from tfo 2013) has made me realize one thing.Its just speculation.
Jet airways has been really fickle on all of the recruitment decisions it has made and tbh so has the aviation scenario. starting from the tfo 2011 batch then type rated exam all the way till 2014. we just have to wait it out theres no way we can predict whats the time frame or who will be given priority (2014 type rated or 2011 tfo). 2011 type should be called first if you consider the fairness of the process, but you never know its jet airways.

Totally agree with aroumika that this guy pkboeing is type-rated and 2014 batch which is why he is seeing only one side of the story, and is adamant on the same thing over and over again.
@pkboeing... Look, dont just post same thing again and again and dont talk like you are making decision in jet airways HR dept. You're a very loyal and faithful brother, I'll give you credit for that much. The way you want your bro to join Jet sooner than anyone else is admirable
However with all due respect to you and your brother, all he has done is written a Jet exam. No one knows yet whether he will pass or not. IF he does pass by his efforts and God's good grace (and I say capital IF because the pass percentage is extremely low), then he still has to clear 4 more very challenging rounds after that.
But here you are, all high and mighty, speaking as if he's not only guaranteed to clear the entire selection process but also LEAPFROG every one else from 2011 and 2013, people who have cleared the selection process ages ago and have been waiting for donkey's years!
My two cents to you: First hope that he clears his written. And if he does manage to clear, the focus should be on him clearing the other rounds.
So calm down, take it one step at a time and come back to planet Earth. You're living in Pluto at the moment, extremely distant from the human species and completely clueless about what's going on.

Answer to this question is not even with JET Management. That is the reason i wrote 'FAIRNESS'. And u doing ur type rating individually does not make you stand in front of us ( still i wrote 1% chance, u could be right coz nobody knows what will happen in this company )
And as far as keeping mouth shut is concerned... Have you ever seen me speaking much here?? U are the one starting same thing again and again... But sometimes our patience reaches its saturation... toh i will speak when i want to...
And secondly, u being type rated do not consider urself trainee i guess... so read the heading buddy... It says 'JET AIRWAYS TRAINEE FIRST OFFICER'...
So make another group saying 'rated will be inducted before 2011 and 2013' and keep smiling about it and post whatever you think is right... We will stay out of it...

We understand you are indeed type rated. Jets selection rounds are difficult and with this attitude you would never be able to go past the GD & Personality round. You must learn to be humble and wait for your turn. I would advice you to stop waiting for the result and perhaps maybe choose a different line of work.

but in all seriousness... I need to understand something. On one hand we have 60 odd guys in the tfo 2011 batch to go for training. How many people in the rated batches of 2013 and 2014 remaining to be hired still... and Mr. Pk Boeing can you please clarify for me which batch you belong to.

You believe 2014 rated guyz will get called first.. well who knows may be you are right... they will be a very small number wont affect us anyway.
Secondly, If it makes you feel good then be happy , chillax and enjoy.
The problem comes in when you go in a circle and a loop ...singing the same song on and on....again and again.
Believe me every second guy can judge your personality...don't praise me by calling me a doctor.
when jet conducts that GD it takes out your true personality,the real you.By the looks of it lot many of us would not want to fly with a guy like you.
NOW not because you are getting called "FIRST" but ONLY and ONLY because of your behavior .
My advice to you as a fellow pilot ..."stay positive and stay humble".

If what you're suggesting is true, then why would Jet take the trouble of conducting a selection process for non-type rated people? One of the criteria should have been "737 type rated", which clearly wasn't the case

Jet isn't inducting any new planes till 2017. Put it's wide bodies on sale. No real talks about expaniding internationally. And you guys are fighting on who will be called first. 😀😁 Mr. pkboeing you didn't mention which batch you belong to.

As of now, whoever is sent for training through Jet will be more current than those who are on hold, 2014 batch etc. For now Jet is focusing on 2011 batch only, you don't need evidence for this.
