And what makes you say that non-type rated candidates are not eligible? Getting a type rating isn't a big deal. Anyone can get one. The non-type rated candidates are not less qualified or less eligible by any means
If what you're suggesting is true, then why would Jet take the trouble of conducting a selection process for non-type rated people? One of the criteria should have been "737 type rated", which clearly wasn't the case
