Hey everyone ;D
Wow i wish i'd found this forum earlier. I've also applied for the KACPP. I went for my IT on 23rd Feb and managed to get scheduled for AT on 22nd Mar. =)
Thanks for the tips holdmetight. I've actually done something almost identical to that before but it was awhile ago.. Probably rusty by now. I wish there's something I can do to prepare for it, any suggestions?
And also when they say AT it's just gonna be you and a computer right? Do I have to dress up or anything in case they throw in a surprise interview?

So what are you doing?student?
Why do you know so much about KA CPP?
Why do you know so much about KA CPP?
As for your second question, I think I was lucky enough to have had the opportunity to befriend and speak to a lot of people who have walked the walk. I also did a lot of reading on my own, taking knowledge from a wide variety of sources. Personal experience also comes into play, though more so when it comes to CX than KA. The breadth of aviation knowledge is boundless in every sense - be it any ground school subject or pilot-recruitment practices... better to get started early and read steadily!
I can't emphasize enough how important research and initiative is, especially when it comes to chasing the job of your dreams.

Hey, congratulations on making it to the AT! As to preparation techniques, I think there are loads of people here who are more qualified to answer your question, as they have been through the actual thing. My two cents is rather generic; just make sure you have a good nights' sleep before the day of, and keep cool while you are doing the test. You can find some more good hints for the AT within this thread. If you are rather rusty on your coordination, you can play some MS Flight Sim and try landing a C172 in a 30kt crosswind!
Not sure about the dresscode, I'd wear a business suit but perhaps some other people who have done the AT can fill you in. I'm quite positive there won't be any surprise interview after the AT though.
Best of luck!

Congrats IcAero on getting your 1st Interview! I'm still waiting for my call
I did not provide them with a local number until I got an e-mail asking me to provide it along with an invitation to the AT. So just check your e-mail if you never provide them with a local number to contact you with.
what phone number did you apply with? Did you update them with your local number? Maybe you got called on a number that you don't have on?

Thanks JYLG,
I received the call the day after my AT.
However, I remember someone saying that 100 people will be selected to 1st interview. So, as more locals are going to have their AT end of this month, your result will come out after everyone has done their AT.
Don't give up yet and the best of luck to you all!

All i found out is the first interview is short, especially after passing 2 stages. The 100 first interview was mentioned by someone as an example. Some organisations like to interview before sitting any tests, others like to sit tests first. Generally ones that sits tests first end up interviewing a much smaller group, as the tests were designed to isolate the group deemed suitable, and the interview just to affirm this. Which might explain the short first interview with dragonair. Or it could be they interview so many people they keep it short hahaha
