Why would you not be able to attend a Part 141 school?
I would say it is a whole lot easier to do your flying on a M1 visa with business on the side then doing your business on a B1/B2 and illegally...

In order for a school to be SEVIS approved it needs to be FAA Part 141 approved. This has to do with more stringent record...

Despite all the replies given here by a lot of knowledgeable people including SoCal and myself there is still a lot of confusion about the M1 visa and which schools can accept non US students.
