Usage of Headsets in Airbus Aircraft

Airbus has recently release a Service Information Letter saying that all headsets and boomsets has to be certified before being used on the aircraft. Only 5 headsets and 5 boomsets were listed.

FCMC Reset A330

If flight crew have to reset FCMC on cruise. The procedure requires GW CG and GW to be re-entered in to FUEL PRED page.

GW I can figure out.. but where do u get a reliable figure for GW CG to enter

Jepp BriefingStrip

A couple of years ago Jepp came up with the Briefing Strip and release a PDF document guiding users on the correct way to use the chart.

We mosty come out from DUB about 270 tonnes. The aircrafts are normally heading towards CPH with min fuel in tanks. 30 tonnes

Most jet aircrafts rotate initially to about 15 degrees. Correct term for it is pitch attitude not AoA. AoA is a totally different thing.

No! SQ pilots are not taught to rotate anything less :)...
