A330 Blue HYD before pushback
My before checklist required me to ensure that park brakes are ON and blue HYD pressure in the tiny green band before push back. Most of the time there is a slight bleed off during transit to just below the green band.
Unlike the Boeing aircraft there is a AUX pump to ensure that is done but the Airbus does not have a pump u leave on before push back.
What does your policy require u to do . Do turn the BLUE Elec pump on ...get the needle in the green band and turn it off. Is there a allowable limit below and just let the EDP do it or what...
Thanks in advance for the answers

I think it is relevant if you are doing engine starts out of sequence. Have a look at external start procedure - think it mentions blue system if starting No 2 first. Normally, No 1 brings the Blue HYD up on start.
