I was under the impression the airlines only...

I was under the impression the airlines only employed military trained pilots, and when the 'Proper' pilots ran out only then would they lower intake standards to take on the civilian trained.

Last I heard Dash 8 course in Jan for 4 people as 4 failed the TR earlier in the year so they had to run another course.

Around 15 of us in the TP Holdpool now.

What experience do you need to be in that one. I have been told that most in the TP hold pool are <400 hrs.

I thought they were short on the jet fleet.

People are prepared to fly and not get paid very much for it...

Good reply BEagle. Seems like the RC needs to work whether he is in the Aviation industry for a Flying career or to just earn as much money as he can with the airlines.
