Anyone shed some light as to what the wind the FMC uses to calculate the TOD point?
I assume that if you put in some descent forecast winds, it can interpolate the others using the stored wind...

Rough gross error check I use for the -300 flight plans is 2500Kgs X flight plan time ie 3.5hrs X 2500 = 8750Kg burn.

For the -700, use 2300kgs.

Not spot on especially if there are thumping...
