Thumbs up Command assessment/training scenarios

I'd be interested to get some different questions or scenarios for Command assessment and training that will get people thinking. Both in the air and on the ground, dealing with the a/c or people.
Eg...
1. Just done a missed approach in bad wx. Heading to the alternate with just over min fuel, ATC calls up and says the wx improving rapidly. Do you turn around or keep going to the alternate?

2. Turn up for sign-on, and the F/O is obviously the worse for wear after a night out. You know this is not habitual and he's normally a good operator. What to do? Drag him aside and tell him to go sick and never to show up like that again, or report him??

I'm sure there are a lot better ones.....
Ta!

1 Keep going to the alternate.

2 If you can't make up your mind what to do, yourself, then you're not ready for the left seat.

Hang on a mo...

Are you asking these as a trainer, wondering whether to use them? If so, may I suggest that the hung-over colleague has been done to death, here in the UK at least...
