If you look at the bottom of the latest seniority list (from last week) there must have been about 5 or 6 A340 places for every 1 B744 place over the last year.

It used to be done on CTC's Caravelle sim by a pair of CTC trainers and then the results were sent back to MAN. Whether CTC are still doing it these days using their fixed base 737 sim I don't know....
