B757 PLI Question

Hi,

I know the PLI appears when ever the aircraft has flap 1 or more out. My question is, will the PLI appear when approaching a stall condition in the clean configuration?

Cheers

No - unless your aircraft have an optional extra in the software for full-time PLIs.

My CBT also says that 1 other condition is that the speed is above 80 KTS.

On our a/c stall warning activates the PLI. As does a stall warn test.

TCX had a few incidents on their 300's of stick shaker activation when turning in clean config at Vref+80. The 300's subsequently had their PLI's changed to appear when clean under low speed high alpha conditions.
