French Class 2 medical

Does anyone know whether the new Easa rules, that were supposed to come into operation in September have allowed French Class 2 medicals to be accepted by the CAA?

So to sum up, you need at least 6 hours PIC and the only way the other 6 can count towards revalidation are if they are PUT. Is that correct? Of course PIC is the best way but...
