Very true that I worked at EMA about that time, and each night out on the ramp I would see DC-3, DC-6, Belfasts, Convair 580s, DC-8s B727s etc and did a few wheel changes on some.

Yes very sad news with both crashes happening, but I'm afraid I don't have any faith in the glass cockpit aircraft. Should have stuck with the flight analogue instruments.
