I just spoke to my cousin in Jet Airways and despite losses he is upgraded from 737 to 777 to complete his 3000 hours quick and become a Captain on 737.

They have stopped hiring international candidates, it is evident on their careers page where they changed International to Singapore citizens only.
I applied back in September, so you can guess..
