This whole thread is almost a repeat of the City...

This whole thread is almost a repeat of the City Express saga that I was reading about in Pprune a few weeks back. But for J41 insert DHC-8 !!!
The two Companies seem to have a lot in common.

The other day over LGW at FL310, a loud bang and my windshield looked like it had been hit by a sledge-hammer!. .We had to make an emergency landing in LGW with a descent through the busiest airspace...

I'm not particuarly a Flt Sim person, but I dogfighted in a snowstorm over Stalingrad with my brother the other night on a Lan connection and now I'm completely hooked on the game. It makes MS combat...

Ryanair and Easy Jet low cost ! what a joke.. .The sooner BMI Baby and BE get into the market to give true low cost the better.. .BTW BE's new logo 'Flybe.com' is excellent.

I don't know why British European don't use their Dash 8 -400's for low cost operations. I was on one the other day and the crew were telling me that they were achieving TAS's of about 370/380 kts.-...

While I can understand BE's reasons for taking on these CRJ guys. I'm afraid it's just another example of what a 'soft touch' we are in this Country.
