Given the crash of oil prices and the near certainty that this will reduce jet fuel prices, surely this jet will come into contention again? The economics of flying it will certainly improve....

NOSTALGIA: Ghana Airways VC10, 1970's

Would anyone know if Ghanaian pilots flew the early 70's flagship 5N-ABO (maybe it was ABG or ABQ), can't recall exactly, I'm afraid.

Ghanaians were trained alongside Nigerian legends in Perth,...

Government should step in

Tanzania is a developing country; every skilled job is precious to the socio-cultural and economic fabric, and so, is worth the concern of government. What's more, $4 mill is a sum the authorities...

Dana 737NG? Bloody ruse

Dana's owned by Indians whose only motive is lucre, lucre, lucre. MD 83s cost 300K US dollars, NG 737s, as from 20 mill US and upwards. No Indian's about to invest that much in Nigeria when he can...

Nigeria's CAA has a rule that no carrier should be allowed to fly with less than two jets (promotes safety, schedule integrity, and all that). So, if FN take-off with one A319, won't they be flouting...

Non Kenyans makes sense, casablanca

The number of EMB rated Kenyans shouldn't be high, given that, it seems it's KQ alone who fly EMBs in East Africa (although I think I saw a photo of a 170/175 in Fly 540 colours somewhere). And since...
