The government doesn't own any part of this airline. It is not a national airline. Why they call themselves a flag carrier is for them to explain. Ghana doesn't have an eagle appearing anywhere in its flag. LOL

Africa is full of poorly concieved (and badly managed ) airlines. Where does Eagle Atlantic hope to find the people to fill that aircraft between Accra and Abidjan, given the surplus of carriers on regional routes just now? In Kampala, it's plans for a new nat carrier with a proposed 7 aircraft fleet, and European destinations even. Can you believe that?

New Ugandan Airline
Don't the Ugandan Government already own a % of Air Uganda just like the Burkina Government and Mali Governments have stakes in those Aga Khan airlines ?
