NOSTALGIA: Ghana Airways VC10, 1970's
Would anyone know if Ghanaian pilots flew the early 70's flagship 5N-ABO (maybe it was ABG or ABQ), can't recall exactly, I'm afraid.
Ghanaians were trained alongside Nigerian legends in Perth, 1958, and were flying twin pistons in commercial service early sixties. It's easy to see them graduating to the quadjets by early 70's, but can anyone confirm this?
I look forward to your help, Thanks!

Their DC-10 makes a good restaurant next to the airport. A fitting tribute to a once global airline. The consensus in Accra is that maintainance costs got to them along with the usual money chop chop. Now the Thpanith have moved....😜
