WOW.. They just started a training class. Guys paid UD$15K upfront to be in that class. Heard their were 14 of them. Wander what happened to their money.
Just goes to show, Pilots should not be paying to work for any airline. If they want Pilots bad enough, they will cover the upfront cost, and should not be worried about people leaving, if the company is such a great place to earn a living

The grounding only lasted 2 days. Dana has been flying since Tuesday the 18th. The current problem is Aero who have been grounded by the NCAA to ensure they have enough staff for safe operations.

The funny thing with Dana is thet they have changed their advertising posters showing a 737 NG with Dna titles instead of their old MD82... funny when they don't have any 737 NG....

Dana 737NG? Bloody ruse
Dana's owned by Indians whose only motive is lucre, lucre, lucre. MD 83s cost 300K US dollars, NG 737s, as from 20 mill US and upwards. No Indian's about to invest that much in Nigeria when he can get away with a fraction and still make his dough. That's why they employ only non-Nigerian pilots. That's why they serve Abuja and PH, and not Owerri and Sokoto. Their Uyo service was subsidized by the AKBM state government. It's sad, but they understand the Nigerian mentality of bribing the right people at the right places, and carting away money.

If the Indians are carting away money, it's because Nigerians let them. Also, no Nigerian owned airline trains pilots at the moment. And for that matter, MD 83s are as safe as 737NGs. It's no sin to want to invest minimal sums and earn maximum. That'ss business acumen, brother
