Good luck finding school places.

6 months in country before you can sponsor your family and get their RP's. Kids cannot get a school place without an RP, whilst many schools have been relaxed...

Strange that BCA, BCC, BCD, BCL and BCK (the rest of the QR 787) fleet are flying but BCB isn't.

It appears that there has just been an 'incident' on a QR B787 in Doha (A7-BCB).

Unconfirmed reports say smoke from the rear equipment bay. APU battery issue again??

Transfer of title for the first aircraft is scheduled for later this week (5th/6th). The aircraft then goes for post a delivery modification and should be in Doha by early November.

Further Delays

The transfer of title of the first QR 787 is now scheduled for August 26th.
The aircraft will go for retrofit activity around 28/8 and should arrive in Qatar around 27/9.

Expect all follow-on...

Boeing have been forced to provide an aircraft to appease QR for the late deliveries.
