I presented for a medical with a broken hand (immobilised for 4 weeks) a few years ago after a very unceremonious slip down some back yard stairs carrying a bag of sausages for the BBQ....

Apparently (varying unverified sources) the delay is due to a backlog with one of the 3 checking bodies...

Has anyone RECENTLY renewed their ASIC and encountered an unexpectedly long processing time? ie. > 5 weeks
I'm heading for a record breaking 6 weeks.
