You don't say your flying experience but l believe you may have to budget for 10 Hrs training on the SR22 before they will let you loose in it. Cessna's seem to have lower mins.

As you cant add ratings to the piggyback it always stays as a private based on certificate.
Anyway l'm not sure that you need it as you will get a stand alone CPL when you've completed the test.

Ok the OVER V goes out but the battery light blinks empty although the units receives for hours. I will see how it goes and maybe send it to Icom. It might be cheaper buying a new one...

Hope this is the correct forum...


My handheld icom a24 shows OVER V when switched on and the battery sign blinks as if empty although has just been charged up (also new battery does same) Ideas...

What you have is a CPL with ATP written test passed. This CPL can be piggybacked into a FAA private.
