Car remote Freq.
I'm hoping someone on here can answer my question about a car remote frequency.
I have an XJS with a UK remote that operates on 418 Mhz, the newer replacements are 433 Mhz. But the circuit boards are the same and both say 418 - 433 on the board.
My question is....should the new one just work on my 418 or must l find some sort of switch ??

probably stand a better chance in Jet Blast (it's friendlier there, as well!)
Alternatively, try the Piston heads forum....they seem to get all the geeky guys with top-end motors.

Valet switch
There should be one under the dash, in the USA near your left knee. You tune the new remote by pressing it and the Valet at same time. You will have to press the Valet a few times to set it up. Good luck.
