IFR Flight from North Weald

Good evening,

Just wondering where I could shoot some IFR approaches departing from North Weald airfield not far away and how much do landing fees or approach fees to carry on them!

Many thanks your tips!

Regards,

Cambridge will sometimes offer a 'package'price if you plan a number of approaches although I have not tried recently.

The nearest ILSs to North Weald that are likely to be able to help you are Cambridge, Luton, Southend and Cranfield. Can't help you with what the fees are though, you would need to give them a call. 01223 373535, 01582 395525, 01702 538420, 01234 758150 in that order.

If its quiet then possibly Stansted but I imagine that would be expensive.

Cranfield have been very proactive with some good rates for landing fees and or approaches; Might not be the nearest though

Cranfield also offer half price approach fee if paid in person on the day.

My ir(r) approaches at Southend in February last year were about £25 a pop
