Looks like TUIC is causing a bit of bother, been met by Airport Fire Service twice in the last 24 hours for smoke from the port side landing gear...although on it's way to PMI as we speak so can't be...

Gatwick Flow Rate?

Seems as though there are a ton of cancelled/delayed flights at LGW, with numerous diversions to LTN/other airports. Reportedly down to lack of ATC personnel.... anyone know more?

Over the past few days there has been a number of Russian aircraft squawking 7700, which is noteably more than there was prior to airspace restrictions. Is there a reason for this? Bingo fuel maybe?...

I think you'll find the Cruise element of the business is actually far more profitable than say, the Airline which is also full of tubs (not so old), maintenance, crew & fuel hungry. :ok:

A quick check on Google Maps shows only a 19 minute increase:

Sanford to Kissimmee = 55 mins
Melbourne to Kissimmee = 1hr 14 mins

Blimey, if you've done a 9hr flight an extra 20 minutes won't...

I'll eat my hat if TUI went in for them considering the recent reductions in the Nordics and 3rd party flying they employ in the UK. Not to mention their entirely Boeing fleet....
