I think that the flight crew should not be allowed access to the toilet as this episode has clearly shown that it can lead to dangerous situations :rolleyes:

as long as it's a proper bullet shaped camera (eg. not a gopro), I can testify that plain and simple duct tape works just fine on DA40 landing gears and DR400 wingtips

never tried a suction mount...

I fly an NG based in LSZA where temperatures are much colder than what you might have in Malta.
I'll check the manual, but I recall no significant fuel...

I only call if it is required in the AIP, or if I have a particular reason (grass runway condition for performance calculations, snow/ice coverage, limited parking, fuel availability, etc..) to do so...

oftentimes fuel is either not available, or available only to based aircrafts.
