VFR through Switzerland (Grenoble to Prague)

I plan a VFR flight from France to Czech via Switzerland and Munich,
best route via Switzerland seems to be Montreux-FRI-WIL-KLO-St. Gallen, which is almost exactly following GAFOR 21-22-13,

would that be possible assuming it goes exactly through Bern and Zurich CTRs?
how high may I fly (preference: ca. FL100, but can go up to FL200),

or what alternate routes would you suggest?

Munich TMA - shall I avoid or will the controllers let me fly through?

As with all VFR flights, you need to get the VFR charts for the route (Jeppesen do reasonable 1:500k ones), lay them out on the floor and draw a route which lies outside controlled airspace i.e. Class E,F,G. Avoid the famous Swiss "ICAO" chart which has a mixture of feet and metres for the terrain elevations One can sometimes get transits through controlled airspace but my experience of flying VFR in Switzerland (before 2006, since when I have always gone IFR) was that the Swiss do not allow it at all. Elsewhere it is much easier. Pick days with good weather, especially in mountanious terrain. Enjoy the scenery!

Rather than going through Switzerland, why not go around it North of the Alps? I don't think it's much longer, if any. E.g., LFLS BOR LUL HOMBO should get you to Germany with no probs whatsoever, from there you can probably figure it out yourself, or ask again and I'll get my ED charts out

I flew at FL90 up the valley SPR-FRI-WIL about 10 days ago, IFR in VMC. The impression I got from that was that it was Class E airspace and there was a lot of uncontrolled VFR traffic about. Bern was quiet and relaxed, I doubt transit would be a problem at that level. I don't know how that would change as you approach Zuerich.

The view is, of course, stunning.

Switzerland in the Mittelland region is Class E up to FL100 (while in the alps is Class E up to FL130/150)
