From my own experience:

I got my Green card because my wife is a US Citizen.
It took about 6 weeks to get it, but this was 22 years ago.

I was able to work for any one that would hire...

Start order modern jets

On the 747-400 the start order is 3&4 simultaneously auto start, followed by 1&2 simultaneously auto start.

Dont know about the -200....if that is still considered a modern jet!!!!

I dont recall oil consumption...
