Is ATI Hiring?
I have heard that ATI has signed a new contract with BAX for an additional five years of DC-8 flying and possibly more aircraft. As a result, they may be hiring soon. Any truth to these rumors?

Just got an email notification that they are accepting applications for Flight Engineer positions. Window open until 1 Jan 2011....might want to keep checking their website to see if they also open the First Officer window.

Sorry to all pilots on the street.
Since Jan 2010 ATI has been directed by ATSG to hire furloughed ABX pilots. Not sure how far down the list of 450 pilots they've worked yet. ATI has brought at least 60 on board over the course of the year and we had a class of 9 start on 30 Nov. They have run through the FE list though and are taking Professional FEs off the street but not Second Officers.
Things are booming. The -8s are making a ton of money for the company and aren't going away anytime soon. 3 767s on property with at least two more coming aboard early next year. New contracts for both fleets. 757 combi's on the horizon. A new T/A gets voted on next month.
