The 412 sim in Dubai is JAR approved, although as of a few months ago they didnt have a resident examiner, but they did say they were getting one!

Not sure how it works there but in the UK you can log P1/US as a P2 as long as the Captain agrees and signs, I'm guessing each company has their own requirements for logging it though. I find it hard...

What about Bristow Academy www.heli.com (http://www.heli.com) , can train for both licences and with something like 30 instructors they are practically always hiring although nothing is guaranteed....

I got in without an IR, as did a couple of others. You can still apply to one company but I'm led to believe that they won't sponsor anymore, but they do offer a low interest loan to the right...

When I joined I was asked which base I preferred to operate from and asked for a second choice, now I think they only need people for Aberdeen, but I may be wrong.
