I'm getting fed up of being told how the South East pays more tax than the rest of the country and subsidises the rest of the UK and this justifies the huge infrastructure costs in the the south...

I don't know what time of day you made the trip but I work next to J26 and I can get to LBA in 20 mins. It has also taken me two hours to get to MAN. Journey times are often down to luck.

American Airlines did the reverse thrust push back on their 727's in the early 90's. Could be quite alarming as they lurched forward a couple of feet before reversing.
