Mainline require HSC English and maths (not the basic one) or a degree in any discipline.

I Don't see how anyone can charge 1k for PPL theory. I'm guessing Bob Taits BAK + PPL books will set you back about $150. Anything you didn't grasp simply ask your instructor, and they shouldn't...

IMO, unless you are a very smart chap, studying HSC maths/english + ATPL subjects will be near impossible. I'm finding it difficult studying HSC and PPL subjects! (lucky we get school holidays:ok:)

Well yea, if your in the UK you would expect to be in a jet within 6 months regardless of the course. If you are staying in OZ, it will turn into about 6 years :{

I don't think anyone has been approved for the FEE-HELP apart from the uni's, which you can only HECS the theory component anyway. Although considering uni charges 40k more to begin with, it isn't...
