I can't agree more. People do not realise how dangerous Afghanistan is-especially the desk jockeys back home in their airconditioned offices figuring out how to save a buck at the aircrews expense....

Complete and utter waste of time and money and they have to be renewed.
Just another way for ACSA to make a buck. Just use your crew card and sign the register when they want you to-much easier.

No snags here-If you can fly a 777 you are right up there!
No snags with WX. Just have WX radar for the descent-can get nasty, just get wx as normal and make a plan-don't just accept an ATC...

Yup-clean and good food perhaps US80-100 per night or around there. Novotel US200 getting shabby. Both right at the airport and gets noisy at times.
