I have had my ppl 1.5 years with 100 hrs logged. Mostly on a 152, but some flying on 172 and PA-28.

Why bother with the USA. I got my ppl in 60 hrs. All in the UK. Total cost around 7K incl all books and a week in Bournemouth doing the exams.

Sounds like I could be better of hiring for my 5K/ yr??

C152 is £96.00/ hr = 52hrs ie 1/ week

I have the oxford cd-rom. Can get 90% consistently, but when I do the confuser am struggling to get 75%.

The wording of the questions in the confuser is more difficult than the cd-rom
