I think it is safe to assume the wx was worse than the METAR indicates.

That a go around is almost always the safest course of action.

I think it is 27 because the slope of the runway seen in the background appears to be downhill...elevation of 27 is 82 feet sloping down to 19 feet on the other end.

there is a published report that the pilot had radioed and indicated he was going around.

certainly to be taken with a grain of salt, but if there was microburst etc the go around could have ended...

I've heard that BA has the pilot not flying manipulate the throttles while thrust reverse is deployed. Not so in the US.
