something similar and not so same

on a similar line.. in regards to make a noise... a trainer once told me tht when u land u should slam the thrust lever to idle(A 320) since the noise helps in reconfirming tht the thrust is idle jus...

the lowest u should be able to descend with the open des should be ur IAA( initial approach altitude) or incase of a visual approach it would be ur circuit altitude, assuming these are set in the FCU...

i fly all three types... and in my limited experience i can tell u...
flap 3 is a lift config..hence considered for takeoff.

I fly the 20s and i think the only problem comes in when u come to a complete stop or uphill or badly paved tarmac... sometimes the thrust req to overcome this is much more than what is normal......

WE have personaly tried setting the PrkBrk inflight and then continuing the approach. and all the way down till 200AGL We didn't recieve any Ecam Warning....

its a discussion about the same.. sops do make it easier for crew to interact with each other and know wht is the next action to be carried out by the crew...
