India Landing Catagory

Can anyone direct me to a link (english hopefully) that describes the differences between the different landing catagories (i.e. C and D)?

Thanks

This pertains to why 737 NG have been forced to Cat D due to higher ref speeds and the A320 gets to stay in Cat C.

Thanks much.

Pans Ops - Doc 8168

Take a look at the ICAO PANS-OPS DOC 8168. Itīs the documents that regulates - besides many other things - the approach category for aircraft based on their maximum speeds during the various phases of an approach. You find the PANS OPS in the Jeppesen "Air Traffic Control" Section.

Boeing / Airbus Discrepencies

I have experinced this myself.
and the way it affects is the minima's change and hence the airbus manages and approach whereas the boeing jus holds around.

I myself fly an AIrbus but jus curious... Panops and 8168 doc ... clearly state tht..
V at (threshold crossing speed and the max certified landing mass) = 141-165 for CAT D.
and at our max landing wt of 77.8 t we def reach tht value.
so why the discrepencies..
if any answers please enlighten.
thanks
