Well, I waited 5 months for mine and it's only valid for 14 months. Looks like they draw out of a hat to see who gets an ASIC or AVID and then spin a wheel to determine how long they valid for.

I agree, definitely use Bob Tait. Don't waste your $$ on Trevor Thom books or you will :ugh: . Trevor Thom is much harder to follow. Bob tait will make it as easy as 1-2-3.

Irex is tuff but I did it self study using Bob Tait and Chris Henry. Lock yourself up for two weeks, do all the questions and you can pass it. You will need both books as they complement each other....
