not too sure, as it wasn't me who tried the RAF crews. I think it was the RAFP who said the RAF crews couldn't turn up. I presume they made the call.

basically there was a fire in a MQ last night at a large airbase in southern england. The RAF crews were 'unavailable' and the fire was left to worsen for 20 minutes until civilian fire crews...

all ejector seats have leg restraints, but as far as I'm aware the Tornado is the only a/c that uses arm restraints. They are built into the lifepreserver which has sleeves. I think the Typhoon also...

The problem is that in todays ever reducing RAF, we need more than just people that can do their 'primary' job whilst at their unit, and be unable to deploy, yet still command the queens shilling the...

I reckon that an 'Operational' pay scale should be introduced.

If you are fully fit, then you resume your usual pay scale.

If you are over x amount of days sick then you can be reduced to a...

I reckon 20 days paid sick leave per year, after that Statutory Sick Pay.
