Shortage of flight crew

Guys,
From what I heard from an Arik Q400 pilot, the airline has a severe shortage of flight crew for the airline's 2 Q400s currently in service. In fact, I am not sure they can fully utilize them...

I believe VK management has left to Sao Jose (Brazil) to be part of the delivery ceremony involving the airline's 2nd E-190, registered 5N-VNI.
