As this is an old Flybe route I imagine they have done their homework and believe it will be viable with a smaller plane. I believe it was economically viable with the Q400 prior to the APD rises....

Flybe do have a service from EXT to CDG which is AF codeshare. Hopefully this will be increased now the AIR SW route to LGW will cease. EY also offer codeshare flights to EXT via MAN.

I checked the EY website and couldnt see any BE/EY codeshare flights to EXT or SOU. The flights to BHD and BHX seem to be BD and Air Brussels codeshares.
