Given the tsunami which has severely impacted aviation, you have already passed the selection with flying colours.
If you have money to burn, that is fine.....just don’t expect to a return on investment any time soon.

No doubt advice from other contributors will follow in due course.

He did answer your question. Current rules: as long as you bring the money you've passed.

Here's a thing I'd rather ponder about if I were you:
What are you going to say during your first job interview in 2035, if they'll ask you why you started your training in the worst possible time to do so?

I know you asked for advice but I gotta ask this anyway..

I see you're from Germany, so why exactly are you trying to get into an MPL program with no chance of getting a job there? Sounds like a terrible mission.
Germany does have some schools that are outstanding in terms of quality and job safety - and while the EFA might not be the right choice due to the current situation (plus recruitment has stopped anyway), there are still decent options out there if you don't mind freighters, rotary wing or military.
And even if none of the above are an option, you still have some amazing modular (of integrated if that's what you truly want..) courses that will provide you with quality training for less money than the CAE will charge for an inferior product.
Think about this twice and get yourself some information on flight training in Germany.

There is no “job safety”. There are no “decent options” in the civilian world, sine die.
“Some amazing modular courses” ~ [Snake oil salesman weasel wording. Extract from day 1 of their course]

Probably best to avoid advice given by those who have yet to enter training, unless their Crystal Ball is fully “S”.

Another eye opener for junior birdmen. The location specified doesn’t always prove to be correct, neither rely upon the stated age; both are done to put you “off the scent” ~ eg NF-...
A newcomer to the PIA 8303 (fatal crash) thread claimed to come from Australia. The “style” of the posting was that of a Pakistani contributor.
The posting was subsequently expunged.

I'm a current student here, waiting to finish ground school and on the 'easyJet' MPL. Please, please, please avoid CAE - I've heard a lot of good things about FTE if you are interested in integrated. The customer service at CAE is non-existent, it will take literally weeks to get answers to any questions, the school is run down, there are so many, many dissatisfied ATPL students there. Take a look at the aviation industry and what is going on, look at BALPA's website too. Please, please consider your options carefully.

With things at the moment, the fact that you turn up to the test will mean that you pass. This is not nice to write or post, but as a current student I can only give you advice and my experience.

This is obviously a troll, no one is stupid enough to think that going into flight training right now is a good move. Unless you hate money and love unemployment.

I trained as a self improver (CAP54: 700 hour route) at Oxford, OATS as was for my IR (see note 1) as I had learnt to fly at Carlisle, their Northern Base until 1981. They were good. Quality. Then over time, the external beancounters became in charge with various takeovers, who had only profit in mind.

FTE is worth a closer look if you are caught in the system and feel your best option is to continue; the “offspring” of BAe flying college, Prestwick where I was a QFI. Three of the original FIs are on the staff.

note 1: CPL flying test (GFT 1:2:3) required no formal training. Simply book a test.
I was exempt from GFT 2 & 3. (IR +FI) Only required GFT 1 ~ wonderful experience with ‘H squared’ at Perth.

Hey,
I have just sat the assessment today, we joined a Microsoft team meeting and everyone had cameras to ensure it was actually you, (just the one person sitting the test), there is also an examiner online to explain instructions etc. The tests were identical to those you can buy on symbiotic's website, maybe slightly more difficult. The best prep for math and physics was cae oxford cbt. Overall not difficult or strict. Simply no calculator and work in peace from home. Hope this helps.

Sit the assessment, hope you get a pass, then say you値l think about it and reassess what痴 going on in a years time.

We still don稚 know the scale of this yet or how long it will impact jobs. There are a lot of unemployed highly skilled crew looking for work and more being made redundant by the minute. After 2008 there were no jobs for 2 years, this is much worse.

Agreed, it still doesn't hurt to take the test, like you said you have 12 months to make a decision and see where the industry is at, if all is failing, then you back out and try again later on, taking the assessments now even if you have to resit will always give you an advantage later on. Stay vigilant and dont be narrow minded on starting ASAP.

For those of you who have passed assessments but decided to wisely ‘pause’, you might consider taking the Initial Class One to ensure that you are medically fit.
Although only valid for one year ( as a Class One ), an AME can renew it up to five years from the date of issue.
