Apparently. ...... he's moving into the fire station and the fire crews are moving into his old hangar. It's all kicking off 1st of February.
I expect the airport will want cash up front for fuel and landings this time round?

Couple of points from the new website for FlyBpl
They quote 7 PPL exams in their course. Are they aware of the 9 exams in the current EASA course, or still teaching some outdated curriculum?
Prices seem quite high to me, and don't include VAT which can be a little misleading. A Cherokee costs £135/hour, Instructor £45, Landings £15 - all plus VAT = £225/hour. That's comparatively high from other places and it's unusual to see the instructor hour broken out in this way for PPL courses.
Their Instrument Rating course is even more, a PA28 Warrior is £235, Instructor £60, Landings £15 (again all plus VAT) = £356

Another question are they a Registered Facility or an FTO?
If the former then I understand they will need to convert to FTO standards. If they are the latter then the CAA should pull them up if the course they offer is non EASA compliant.

I wouldn't worry too much about the website - it's of academic interest only.
It's seems unlikely that RM will have any future part to play if his rumoured misdemeanours prove to be of any substance? Serious stuff it seems?

Looks like rm has just sold his house. Maybe to pay the bills? Very sad if that's why

Well folks
Today is the day the flybpl is supposedly reopen.
I presume all the people owed money will be invited to the relaunch?
Westair must be happy that he has stopped running a flying school from within their premises!!
Gonna sit back & watch the fireworks!!

Looks like they're using G-lfsj & g-brud for the time being, rm as the only instructor. Good luck to them all. Just my opinion

RM Up & Running
Well you have to give it to him, RM has risen from the ashes again !!
He has been operating G-LFSJ & G-AYMK today for trial lessons & self fly hire.
The curious thing is upon checking standards doc 30 (link below) flybpl Ltd or flybpl.com are no longer are approved organisation whether it be a registered facility or ATO.
Standards Document 30: UK CAA Registered Training Facilities PPL Aeroplanes and Helicopters | Publications | About the CAA
Is RM using someone's approval or has he really not changed
Seems like all the rumours of the airport huffing & puffing that "RM will never operate from this airport again" was a load of baloney !!
Interesting to see if he wins the battle for his bar !!

That's a very interesting point you raise, Air Force None.
I scanned the site you mentioned with great care, and surely, as you say, Fly BPL was not mentioned.
Even more interestingly, I found no mention of Hangar 8, where, I believe, Boy Entrant spends a great deal of his time?
