Well said TJ (suggestion.....)

He never turns up when booked for flights anyway and then buggers off with someone else.

And only God controls weather............

Sorry NFS.

I recently made two posts about NFS & Wings Bar - I was totally out of order and wish to write an apology, I have also apologised personally to those concerned.

I had a bad day and posted stuff on Pprune that was out of order and not backed up by facts. I have made comments about NFS knowing full well that I could see Neil at anytime about anything and he would listen and sort it, which he has done recently for me. Instead while still in a mood I go on Pprune and make a fool of myself for which I am ashamed of. It has been the first time doing such a post and my last.

I saw Neil yesterday and I am disgraced by using Pprune to have a go, Apologies were given and Neil being the man he is accepted it and has said it's done with. He could have made things worse but he did not. He is a hardworking man that has not had a day off since taking over the school and I just totally omitted anything good and focused on what I would like.

I also apologised to Lynda and the office staff aswell. I made comments without facts and made judgement on NFS which was incorrect and I was totally in the wrong.

I will in future act responsibly with respect and understand there are more things important than what I think or want and I therefore should not have posted the misleading information on Pprune about the highly respected and succesful NFS.

Wings
What I posted on Pprune about Wings was what I thought and not in true relection on the high quality food at Wings.

Just because I had a bad meal which was a one off it did not give me the right to pass comment on air.

I failed to mention all the great meals I have had their especially the Scampi. The boys at Wings run a great bar and would have sorted any problems I had straight away if I had just communicated with them rather than using Pprune.

This was unprofessional and after a good conversation with the Manager I decided to apologise on air and give him a copy in the future, if I am man enough to post such topics I am man enough to act on them if I feel that later on I could have handled them differently.

I will no longer being using Pprune and I am sorry to others that took offence and having a user name like mine is also wrong and I apologise to Samson.

Guys, there has been a lot of 'outing' over the last couple of now deleted posts. These are anonymous forums don't forget and when someone is outed and complains to me about it, I then have to act on it, hence the removal of posts.

Anymore personal information will be deleted.

I was away in London on the 9th and therefore couldn't get there. Hopefully next year, and I'll get mine.

The 'paper bag' was simply to hide my ugly mush!!

Happy Christmas everyone.

G-WARH

I've just discovered on the web that the former club's flagship Warrior III G-WARH is now available for hire at Blackpool.

Perhaps if NAC had charged £99 a month, we'd still be around?

I'm not sure if these rates include landing fees. If they do, then it's comparable to what NC is offering on the older Warriors at home.

NAC had issues than simply having a reasonable hire rate.

I'm not sure what is £99 per month though?

Northumbrian Flying School is going strong (minus the politics) and really is a nice atmosphere. Neil and Lynda deserve to do well as they work so hard at making the Club a success.

Moderator moan

Sorry about the now meaningless £99 - no criticism was intented whatsover of the current operator - my earlier post has suffered an overzealous hatchet job by a moderator.

Let's be clear. In the earlier post, I didn't mention a certain flight training organisation at a UK airfield by name. Instead I stated some prices for reasons of comparison with what we now pay at a certain flight training organsation at EGNT and what we used to pay at a certain flying club at EGNT for a certain aircraft. I realise now that a link to the photo of the aircraft (that's all - no prices) unwittingly included the new aircraft owning organisation's name in the URL. The link maybe could have been removed, but to clumsily chop the rest of the text talking about pricing - VERY frustrating.

A certain moderator must be having a bad day. I wasn't advertising, just mentioning some facts of interest for ex-members of a former EGNT flying club like myself - there is plenty mention already in this thread of pricing and explicit organisation name, both of the former flying club and current company at EGNT - so why start hacking inconsistenty now? We don't like wasting our time on contributions thank you very much.

p.s Have been very careful not to mention any names - uh oh, I've been advertising Newcastle Airport by mistake!

You went into great detail explaining how much the plane is to hire. It is simple to find out who the new school/club are.(big clue in the picture). The cost of running pprune is very expensive these days. As the site grows bigger it costs more money. We need revenue from advertisers, they are not going to advertise when it is handed to them on a plate here are they, hence the removal of part of your post. I am sorry if it has annoyed you but that is how I see it at the moment. If you think your post was harmless then repost it, as you posted earlier, and I will ask the boss to look at it. If I am wrong then fair do's, I will apologise to you, if not then you will have to take it up with the powers to be. Is that fair enough?
