Pix
I checked with our resident god, S.o.S, and it's OK to post lots of pix, PPrune doesn't have a problem with the extra bandwidth that pix take up.
Accordingly, I took a look through my collection of photographs that I took back out of the window in the 1980s and 1990s, before there were affordable digital cameras, and came to the conclusion that - I don't actually have any pix that are that memorable. The best are of coming into JFK when the twin towers were still up, and the approach into Kai Tak. There are Youtubes of both that are better than the stills I took. Also, I'd have to get steam up on my scanner, which is too old for there to be a Linux driver for it, and crank up the Babbage engine to run Windows 7, to scan the pix.
Other commenters, for example on the thread about the first airliner you flew in, have contributed pix which got 'liked', and I'd love to see more of them. Would you? I'll bribe you with the promise of 'likes' if you put up pix I find especially nostalgic.

My first aeroplane - Persian Air Services Avro York "Dog Easy". Not my pic, scraped from the web. At Beirut airport.
Sadly PAS had a habit of crashing their Yorks. I think they wrote off 3, including Dog Easy.

On the trip out to the 1994 (?) Reno Races which I think was in a BA 747 - we did a slightly different approach into SFO than I was familiar with - we seemed to do an overhead join at a reasonable altitude and then descended whilst flying around the Bay Area, which was great as it gave me the chance to deploy my little Ricoh 35mm compact (my glider turn - point camera at the time).

It's a bit late now, but I should have asked people what cameras they use to take the pix. I'm an aviation geek, not a photography geek, but some people like to know.
I've decided I will get up steam on the scanner (too old for a Linux driver) and put extra coal under Windows 7 to scan some analogue pix, on Monday. They were all taken with an Olympus XA, and Kodak Ektachrome or Kodachrome 100, I think Ektachrome. The XA was a tiny camera, it fit into a shirt pocket, but had manual everything (exposure, aperture, focus) and took pix almost as good as a heavy SLR.
If this thread runs for a while, perhaps we could create a gallery!

. I'd like to know the results of the vote. As in some of the 'Stans, I assume the vote was over 99%? With only one voter counting? Hmm?There's a reason for chauffeur service for first class pax after the flight. As they never let your glass get empty, you lose track of how much you've had to drink - and you're in no fit state to drive as the flight attendants pour you off the plane and smile and wish you a pleasant onward journey.

Really artistic shot. Mathematics, Physics and Engineering creating something so beautiful it's art. But why do they spell it Virqin? With a Q?

I agree with you re A350 it’s definitely better as PAX than the 777 in my opinion though I still prefer the A380 if possible for long haul travel.
It’s a while since I have been in a Boeing actually but with BA for my sins next month in 777 but at least it has new suits fingers crossed.
Cheers

The 777 looks like something crafted in a different century to the Welsh Wizards Working Wonders at Broughton, doesn't it? The A350 has British wings held up by British Engines. The 50% of me that's British is proud of them.
