Very good Helol. We have been on that and their E190 and somewhere else the 175. Expect to be on one of their 190s before too long.

Still in ZA, here is a window shot: Guess the machine and approximate era.

I think there's another forum for 'guess the aircraft'. Do you want to post this there as well? We wouldn't want to tread on their territory/toes!

I said I'd look through my 1980s/1990s analogue pix and turn them into something digital on Monday. I didn't say which Monday. Keep them coming, good people!

Nope this is not the first of guess the machine. I was going to choose another pic from that flight but then thought this better as you cannot see the flight deck.

Well, it's a tri-jet, so my guess (and it is a guess!) is 727. Bop Air only flew the 200, so my even lower probability guess is 727-200 if SunAir was the successor to Bop Air. There seem to have been a lot of airlines called Sun Air, SunAIr or Sun-Air.

727-200 SunAir the first iteration. This was JNB-CPT in December 1997. My lady asked about a visit and they were great - even more so when they learnt that her late father flew Spitfires!

This is (obviously) not my photo but turned up this week and - as it is out of another aircraft window - I thought it might count! That ride would rate amongst the best in the world.

Lovely picture, but on the top right of the building, under the flight deck, it looks like someone's airing their bedding.

Not a picture but a small contribution rather than another thread.

Its funny when I looked at this on my phone the tube to the right looked like a heads up display hence my 787 comment, but when viewed on larger screen obviously a lot older aircraft type.
Cheers
