It's a bit late now, but I should have asked people what cameras they use to take the pix. I'm an aviation geek, not a photography geek, but some people like to know.
I've decided I will get up steam on the scanner (too old for a Linux driver) and put extra coal under Windows 7 to scan some analogue pix, on Monday. They were all taken with an Olympus XA, and Kodak Ektachrome or Kodachrome 100, I think Ektachrome. The XA was a tiny camera, it fit into a shirt pocket, but had manual everything (exposure, aperture, focus) and took pix almost as good as a heavy SLR.
If this thread runs for a while, perhaps we could create a gallery!

Reason: aperture not speed. Speed is exposure.
